Residential projects
The most intense and most interesting of all tasks is when the design is commissioned by the user itself or, in other words, the family which intends to live in the house or apartment.
In my business, the majority of the customers are individuals building the property for their own use.
Industrial projects
I have been working with industrial buildings since 2010. In each case, these structures involve a rather regulated design process, since even in the simplest of cases, we are producing plans for a specific technology. Despite this, or perhaps precisely because of this, each project is a very exciting challenge.
When it comes to designing industrial buildings, general planning and project coordination activities are just as significant as the architectural tasks at hand.
The majority of these projects do end up being built, but in many cases, a long time elapses between the design phase and the completion of the planned structure.
Condominium projects
I have been dealing with façades, roofing, covering, hanging corridors and the renovation and reconstruction of other structures of large apartment buildings since 2005.
The majority of the buildings presented here are located in the historical downtown of Budapest. It is always a pleasure to work on such exciting old building structures, be they nationally or locally protected monuments, or edifices without historic protection; the job always entails learning about the past and present of the particular building, so that we may provide an authentic restoration of its destroyed or heavily damaged architectural value.
The majority of these projects do end up being realised, but much time generally elapses between the design phase and the completion of the works, financed by the owners’ community.
