Renovation facade, Budapest, Vas street 7.
Completed
2017

Budapest, District 8, Palace Quarter. A tenement building designed in 1903, most of its clinker brickwork facade remains in good shape. My restoration designs involved an overall cleaning, the replacement of a few missing plasterwork ornaments and a destroyed ledge, and the re-building of the badly damaged steel handrails. Besides the wholesome vigor of József Klinger, the original architect, what also makes this facade worthy of note is its remarkable neighboring counterpart that was designed by Béla Lajta. Planning took place in 2017, and the reconstruction was completed two years later.
